Senior Physiotherapy Lecturer
I am a Chartered Physiotherapist that has been employed as a Senior Lecturer since 2005. I become involved in the project through the Imagine Project that brought together our multidisciplinary and multi agency team. Our first project was to trail the use of Virtual Reality with upper limb amputee patients that wore prosthesis. From that we have continued as a team to work on this Virtual Reality Prosthetics project funded by the Wellcome Trust.
My role as a physiotherapist is to inform the work about how our bodies work and to see how the project may change our perceptions about people with limb loss and disability.
